Clinic app guide

Learn how the dashboard, navigation, setup checklist, report activity, and common statuses fit together.

In the clinic app. Dashboard is the signed-in home. The menu is Patients, Integrations, Templates, Reports, Team, and Settings.

Written for every clinic user.

How the clinic workspace is organized

The clinic app follows the life of a report. Patients identifies the person, Integrations brings in approved source information, Templates defines the report, Reports runs the workflow, Team controls access, and Settings holds clinic-wide configuration.

The header information icon opens the guide for the area you are viewing. Documentation opens in a separate tab so unfinished work in the clinic app stays in place.

  • Dashboard: clinic setup, current report activity, report volume, and shortcuts.
  • Patients: identity, connected source records, pulled records, forms, notes, and attachments.
  • Integrations: available clinic systems, credentials, connection health, and sync activity.
  • Templates: report structure, data mapping, design, versions, and publishing.
  • Reports: generation, provider review, approval, download, and history.
  • Team and Settings: membership, roles, security, branding, developer keys, usage, and billing.

Read the dashboard

The Dashboard summarizes the current calendar month. Reports generated, completion percentage, current runs, frequently used report types, and the trend chart help the clinic understand workflow volume and outcomes. Trend controls change the chart only; they do not change the current-month totals above it.

  • Use the setup checklist until the clinic has a team member, a connection, a published template, and a first report.
  • Open Current reports to investigate an unfinished or failed run.
  • Use Generate report for new work and Report library for completed run history.
  • A failed report is an operational state, not a clinical conclusion.

Understand common statuses

Statuses describe the current system state and the next available action. They do not confirm that clinical content is correct.

  • Draft: editable work that is not available for new reports.
  • Published: a template that providers can use to generate reports.
  • Connected: credentials were accepted; review Sync activity to confirm data is arriving.
  • Needs attention: a connection or operation failed and should be investigated.
  • Completed: report generation finished; a provider still needs to confirm the final document was handled correctly.
  • Not available: the system did not receive a required value and did not invent one.

Permissions, empty states, and unavailable actions

What you can see and change depends on clinic membership and role. An empty list can mean the clinic has not completed that setup step, while a disabled or absent control can mean the role is not permitted to perform it.

  • Owners manage clinic-wide administration and billing.
  • Admins manage operational setup and can publish clinic configuration.
  • Healthcare providers review and approve clinical reports.
  • When access appears wrong, confirm the active clinic and role with an owner before repeating the action.
